紐約市民卡(IDNYC)，其實很好用。

沒有駕照的您，申請一張後，出門就不用一直帶護照。

但是IDNYC是不能進酒吧喝酒的喔！(他們不承認)，買酒可能也不行。

除此之外，他是除了紐約駕照外，最好拿來證明身份的卡。

還有就是去博物館或動物園，是免費的。

不多說，直接帶您來申請吧。

★ 如何申請市民卡

在預約網頁上填寫資料： http://www1.nyc.gov/site/idnyc/card/start-your-application.page

選「Get Started」

選左上角「Apply for an IDNYC Card」

往下滑，選「Start Application」

填個人資料

姓名、地址（我就不多解釋）

Eye Color，選「Black或Brown」

Height，請自己上網計算「幾呎幾吋」

　例：身高就是公分除以30.48即可，以我為例我是158公分(好矮油！不准同意地點頭)

158公分/30.48=5.1667

故我的身高就是5呎2吋

Language Preference，選「Mandarin」

Emergency Contact，填「自己朋友或家人或同事」，但這個會印在卡面背後。

至少要有

3點證明自己的身份

1點證明自己住在紐約

1個文件上有自己的照片

1個文件上有自己的生日。

若自己有紐約的駕照，以上全達到，即可申請。

若跟我一樣還是小白，請參考我的：

身份-3點 (我勾Foreign passport)

居住-1點(我勾Bills-Banking

步驟請勾「Show more documents」後，再選

1．Identity部份

Passports-表格內選「Foreign passport-machine readable」

U.S. Visa/Permits，即有3點

再勾「Continue to Residency Documents」

2. Residency部份

選Bills，再於表格內選「Banking,financial or credit card account bill, statement or notice(dated within 60 days)，即有1點

這樣所有的Points都搜齊了

Make appointment(預約一天到指定圖書館辦理)

簽上自己的名字

確認自己的Appointment Details無誤

之後與指定時間至指定地點即可。

以我為例：

櫃台：

1. 我選的地點在法拉盛市區的圖書館。

2. 進去後，找IDNYC櫃台，給上自己的預約單。

3. 然後工作人員，印出您的基本資料

4. 工作人員將比對您的護照、銀行的明細表(近兩個月)

照片：

另外去一邊的櫃台，等著拍照後，

會收到一張表格，簽名。

兩週後可以收到IDNYC

此卡背面，會有緊急聯絡人的名字、電話喔
